Is my data sent to the cloud?

No. VibeTV uses the sign-in that's already on your computer, for example from Claude Code or Codex. VibeTV only uses it to ask your AI provider for your usage. VibeTV needs no account and no password of its own.
Does VibeTV read my prompts, code or chats?

No. The VibeTV app only asks your AI provider for your usage overview. These are the same numbers you see there yourself under usage or limits: how much of your limit is used and when it resets. That request only returns numbers, your chats aren't part of it. Token counts are counted right on your computer, from the log files that tools like Claude Code create there themselves.

WHAT DOES VIBETV SHOW?

Your AI usage, in numbers: how much of your session and weekly limit you have used, when each limit resets, and token counts.
DOES IT COUNT MY CLAUDE USAGE IN THE BROWSER AND APP, OR ONLY CLAUDE CODE?

Both. VibeTV shows the limits of your whole Claude account: your current 5-hour session and your weekly limit. These are the same numbers you see on claude.ai under Settings → Usage, so chats in the browser or the Claude app count just like Claude Code.

Using Claude through a Team or Enterprise plan? The app can currently read your personal organization instead of your team. See Setup & support, or email hello@vibetv.shop if your VibeTV shows different values.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALL THE VIBETVS?

Only the look. Every VibeTV is the same device and works with every AI provider: the Claude TV works with Codex, the Codex TV works with Claude, and so on. You pick your theme in the VibeTV app during setup and can switch to any other theme anytime, for free. So if you ordered one VibeTV and would rather have another design, there is nothing to change in your order.
DO I NEED TWO VIBETVS FOR CLAUDE AND CHATGPT?

No. One VibeTV can show several AI tools: taking turns with "Automatic", or two side by side with "Two at once". You set this in the app under Settings › Display mode. One VibeTV app controls one VibeTV at a time. To use two VibeTVs at the same time, each one needs its own computer running the VibeTV app.
DOES IT WORK ON WINDOWS AND MAC?

Yes, it works on Windows and Mac. You need a Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple silicon or Intel) or a 64-bit Windows PC. Linux is not supported at the moment.
DOES VIBETV NEED WIFI?

No. You connect your VibeTV via USB-C cable (included).

You can, however, also connect it via WiFi, if you want.
DOES MY COMPUTER NEED TO STAY ON?

For current usage data, yes. VibeTV is a display. The VibeTV app runs in the background on your Mac or Windows PC, where you are signed in to your AI tools. It reads your usage there and sends it to VibeTV over the USB-C cable or WiFi. Without a running computer, no new values arrive. On a power supply and WiFi, VibeTV can still show a screensaver you set up, such as "Night Clock". You set this up in the app under Settings › Screensaver.
DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT OR A SUBSCRIPTION?

No. VibeTV has no account and no subscription. You pay €39.90 once.
IS MY DATA SENT TO THE CLOUD?

No! VibeTV runs locally on your computer. Your usage data only travels over the cable or your local WiFi to your VibeTV, never to us.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

Currently within Germany, with DHL. Shipping costs €4.99, and orders from €55 ship free. Delivery takes 3 to 5 business days. For other countries, email us at hello@vibetv.shop.
CAN I RETURN IT?

Yes. You can return VibeTV within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@vibetv.shop with your order number.
